Beaverhead County, Montana

Beaverhead County is in the southwestern corner of Montana. The area is one of the state's main agricultural centers. The county seat is the small city of Dillon. Other communities in the county include the town of Lima and unincorporated communities. Polaris, Jackson and Wisdom are some of the unincorporated communities.

The town of Lima has one school for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. High school students in other towns in the county can attend Beaverhead County High School in Dillon. College students can attend the University of Montana Western in Dillon.
